Hello and welcome to the Friday December 28th

2018 of Tesla Daily Unofficial Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob Maower. Today we are talking

about Tesla's two new board members as well as catching up on some other news from earlier

this week. Well you wouldn't really know it by looking at the stock price at the end of the week.

Tesla on the week finished up 4.4% versus the NASDAQ up around 4%.

But it was a very bumpy ride getting there. I think on Wednesday the stock was up like 10% next day down 5% and

then today it finished up 5.6% to $333.87 which compared to the NASDAQ

for the day up 0.08%.

Personally, I don't remember a week that has had this little news specifically related to

Tesla that has been this volatile, but the macro environment obviously continues to drive that.

For those that are curious, I do still hold all of my January options.

I haven't traded anything, so that's been even more of a roller coaster than the stock has been.

But I think it's been a good week to be a little bit removed from that, take some time off, and focus on some of the things that matter most.

One other quick update from the last podcast that I did, I was talking in that episode about how even though I had some contact with

Tesla about potentially looking at inventory to take delivery before the end of the

year. Since that point in time Tesla hadn't really followed up with me. Well of course

the day after I published that

Tesla did reach out via phone they left me a voicemail and text message. Pretty

standard stuff just wondering if I'd be interested in taking a test drive and

wondering if they could go over the delivery

options that I would have prior to the end of the year. I haven't had any time to

follow up with them yet, but since then they haven't continued to reach out.
