Probably the time when I'm most thankful to be a writer is when I'm chockful to the brim with someone else's story.

When you watch a good movie or read a book that sweeps you away into

that rarefied atmosphere of a story high, you get the feeling like life is too big to hold

inside your body and that if you don't do something with it, it'll burst right out of your skin.

Of course, as a writer, that something is always writing.

This is yet another reason why authors must read voraciously as well as exploring

other art forms. Stories feed off one another. Your stories inspire me, mine inspire you, and we inspire others. It's a marvelous

full circle. Signs you've chosen the wrong protagonist.
