You know those pictures of marathon contestants who are flat on their stomachs,

sweating like pigs, literally dragging themselves over the finish line.

Well, that's kind of how I'm feeling as I approach my final three chapters in my latest

revision of my historical work in progress, the deepest breath.

Funny how that works, isn't it?

Everything's going well with it.

I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out,

although I do have some remaining neagles to check with my beta readers and

crit partners.

And of course, I'm ecstatic to be so close to the end, especially since

I have so many other projects breathing down my neck right now. So you'd think I'd be jogging

along, arms outstretched, ready to break that finish line tape.
