In this episode, I'm going to be looking at the time it

takes most bloggers to write a blog post. I will also dissect whether or not there is a direct

correlation between time spent on post and traffic results. Let's first take a look at the average amount of time it takes a blogger to write a blog post.

Back in 2014, the average blog post took a little under two and a half hours to write.

In 2018, this stat had risen by 44%. It now takes on average three and a half hours for a blogger to write a post.

The average time only tells a tiny part of the story. The actual time invested per post varies dramatically between bloggers.

Close to 50% of bloggers spent less than three hours on writing a blog post.

On the other side of this spectrum, one in eight bloggers spent over six hours per blog post. There's clearly an upward trend in bloggers going the
