There is a common saying in the world of health and fitness that every program fails due to compliance.

This is obvious, of course, if you don't stick with a program, the program is not going to succeed.

But the more important question is, is why do people fail to comply with programs? My guest today has been in the health and fitness

industry for more than 20 years, and he's looked at what makes some people successful and other

people fail when presented with the same program. He has discussed how we all have

behavioral traits that we share one onto another. These are called biogenic traits, and these traits

because these old biogenic traits cause us to develop desires for things like high caloric food, to conserve energy by

traits that are enforced within us that give us our feelings.
