I'm sitting here at Old Sharptail Ridge. I got George McNamara co-piloting here with me today. West Larrabee is out there maintaining the county roads, doing a great service to the community. But today we got Jordan from Maven Optics on the podcast with us.

Got to chat with Jordan quite a bit at Fesson Fest.

We may or may not have had a couple of cocktails several nights in a row.

Got a chance to actually look through the glass of Maven optics down there on the show floor.

Pretty blown away by it.

And all my buddies who everybody,

everybody out there kind of knows that I'm not well known for being a super

hardcore big game guy.

I do plan on going over and doing some bear hunting this spring over in Montana.

Again, I haven't done that since like 2020 or 2021.

And I'm not happy with the scope that's on my rifle.

So I was talking to Jordan quite a bit at the show.

Sadly for him, we're going to rehash some of that, some of that conversation because there

was a George said I started talking like I was skipping lines in a book that night where I was saying things and then I

would like skip a line ahead and things weren't actually meshing. So that'll give you guys a little

insight as to how my brain was working the particular night that we were actually trying to talk

about Maven Optics. So thanks a lot for taking some time out of your day, Jordan, and coming over

here and learning us the ways of optics. Yeah, thank you. I'm happy to be here and hopefully it doesn't come across like we're skipping

lines in the big thing. Well, it's 2 o'clock of the afternoon. I mean, there's no bourbon. I know

that you guys over at Maven, you've sent me some videos of you guys having a happy hour beers before you clock out. But I don't think that starts at 2 o'clock. So, I mean, if you're having one, no judgment. It's only one. No, no. This is a Tuesday. We do a community happy hour on Thursday. So if you know someone at the company or your local, you can come by after work. And we'll open up the beer fridge for you. Oh, nice. Tuesdays are safe. I should be, I should be sharp. Should be sharp. Okay. So, okay, I want to jump into this. So for those, there's going to be some people out there that are not familiar with Maven. When I talked to my buddy Matt Schmidt, who's a big time rifle shooter, he's got all kinds of, you know, he's ran night force and all kinds of different stuff.
