It is Sunday, the year of our Lord.

Let me check the notes.

2022. It's our first show of the new year. We are indeed jam-packed. We are high atop

downtown snowy, Nashville, Tennessee. One of our buds on Twitter, Jessica O'Donnell, just

asked why. And really, I don't know. I just left Miami and we are now in freezing temperatures here.

We're going to go to Indianapolis later this week where the forecast high upon arrival

is in the upper teens.

And we are a show with options and we are choosing this.

And that's really the most disappointing part.

Like when I write in my diary tonight, Dear Diary, we're choosing frigid temperatures

over what we experienced in Miami last week. It was palm trees, sunshine, iguanas, not always

in that order. It was great, but we do have a big week on tap. And so the national championship

journey is going to take us to Indianapolis, Indiana, and the opportunity to meet Steve Wilfong

and Kelly Wolffong at their

house instead of just on Skype like we normally do. So we've got a lot to get to. I've got some

early thoughts on Alabama and Georgia tonight. It's not an SEC championship recap, although the same

kind of bullet points that we hit once upon a time when those teams played in Atlanta,

yeah, it'll sound like a familiar refrain,

but I'm not attacking it from that angle tonight.
