your clarity, your purpose, and your boundaries. I want us to take a moment today to reflect on what we

truly want in a romantic partnership. What do you need to feel seen and heard and cherished?

I know this isn't something that we are often encouraged or ever feel like we have the time to do. And so we swing between just dating without any

clarity and intention and just out in these streets or being dating avoidant, which to be

transparent, I tend to fall into that category,

whether it's cynicism that leads us to either of these extremes. Our goal is to really reflect

in this episode. And I know if you're anything like me, you've probably experienced the pressure and the weight of

societal demands. You know, black women are constantly being asked to save the world,

their community. And in sometimes there's this implied expectation that they need to save their

partners. We struggle with unrealistic expectations and even the fear of being too much.

How often are black women when they set a standard or make a decision often ridiculed or told that they expect too much, that they're doing too much, and that people will not accept an accomplished, healed black woman

But I'm here to tell you that you are not too much.
