Welcome to the Black Girl Burnout podcast, Kelly here.

0:12.8

And today I want to talk about how to opt into expansion, how to live an expansive, big life.

0:27.1

I feel like it's something that we all want to do and all want as a goal.

0:33.8

But being expansive, being broad, being big, living out your dreams, all those things.

0:36.3

There's something that happens as you get older, right?

0:40.1

As you stop thinking, the world is so big and there's so many possibilities to your life. As you get older, you lose that child like wander

dreams that we just should not pursue. They're not realistic to pursue or sometimes we just

1:36.5

outgrow our dreams. There are things that I wanted to be as a kid that I am genuinely satisfied

1:42.6

and thrilled I did not pursue as a career.

1:46.1

But the spirit of expansion, the spirit of feeling that your life is filled with possibility,

1:52.6

that is the energy that we don't want to lose, even if our dreams and our hopes may change.

1:58.6

The fact that anything could happen at any moment and that we're

2:02.3

capable of anything, that spirit and attitude goes away as we get older. And I want to spend

2:09.7

the week talking about how to get it back. We're going to talk today about how to opt into
