And today we're going to talk about boundaries without burnout in love.

We always are talking about it's a common phrase to say you need to protect your peace,

but if we're not careful, setting boundaries can feel like more work, especially if we constantly

have to defend them or justify them. I hope this episode helps you explore how to create

It's near and dear to my heart, but really most importantly, I want you to be able to create

these boundaries and not feel overwhelmed by the thought of creating it. I want you to be so

So let's talk about first why boundaries feel so hard. As I said before, this episode is focused

relationships. And the only way we're going to get rest in our relationships is if we understand how

boundaries work and the critical role they play in us having more restful love.

because we often feel guilty or over-explain or struggle even

with the follow-through. I've told you about the three steps to setting a boundary, and one of those

is making sure that you remain firm despite pushback. And so oftentimes we might set a boundary, but then we get so much push back or we feel

too guilty or we spend too much time trying to justify why we have it that we don't follow through

with it. And at the end of the day, boundaries should feel protective. They should be a protection, not a punishment,
