| 0:33.7 | it's something I'm working on, normalizing, not feeling well. I have chronic health |
| 0:39.6 | issues and I wonder sometimes if I make them worse. No, no, it's not a wonder. I know. |
| 0:45.5 | I know that I make them worse when I minimize symptoms and pain, when I minimize the struggles I |
| 0:52.0 | have when I try to brush it off and say, I'm fine, I'm okay, |
| 0:55.2 | to make other people feel comfortable versus taking care of my own body and my own needs, |
| 1:00.4 | I know that that has an impact on my health. And so I want to talk about how we let go of |
| 1:06.8 | suffering in silence and how we then embrace the rightful attitude, which is a space of advocacy |
| 1:13.6 | and joy around our physical bodies, just being happy to live in the body we're in. |
| 1:23.1 | And that does not mean that we won't have pain. It does not mean that this will erase all of your health concerns, |
| 1:30.4 | particularly if you have chronic illness or are struggling with something. |
| 1:34.0 | I want to let you know, I'm not here to minimize what you're going through. |
| 1:40.0 | This is just about learning to find joy in spite of physical challenges, |
| 1:46.1 | learning to find joy and know that it's available to you so that you don't have to get chronic illnesses if they're preventable. |
| 1:54.3 | And you can reduce the severity of some of those illnesses if you're empowered to advocate for your health and to find joy |
| 2:05.1 | in your body. And so I want to talk about ways to do that as I set up the rest of this month. |
