Opening night at the Super Bowl is certainly a spectacle these days.

It's always been a lot of fun around America's favorite sporting event.

As the week of the Super Bowl turns into a media frenzy, there was once upon a time a really hard discussion

that teams had about how to basically control or keep their players focused during the

Super Bowl week because it was such a crap show of things going on. It's much more

regulated and regimented now with official certain duties like attending opening night and being

asked ridiculous questions, sometimes by child reporters from Nickelodeon or entertainment reporters.

It's everything America all in one place. And it's good to get a lot of this media stuff, the silly media stuff, out of the way

early on in the week.

And we certainly saw that.

Roger Goodell began with his state of the league address, which he does every year in

news conference.

And he was basically in a no-win situation at this year's Super Bowl because somehow the

entire conversation, after all these years somehow the entire conversation after all these

years of watching sports, after all these years of following the NFL, after watching all

the dynasties from the Steelers to the Cowboys to the Patriots, we have a dynasty now that

apparently is no good at football.

They're just helped out by the officials because it's rigged somehow.

It's crazy.

So Roger Goodell's in the worst possible spot.
