Summary

Open-ended questions are designed to help us emotionally connect with others. These questions are meant to gain the most information possible about people's values and how they relate to a given task or opportunity. Some of my favorite open-ended questions to ask are: “What are you doing today?” “What do you like (or not like) about it?” Asking these types of open-ended questions and truly listening to the answers allows us to learn about a person’s current mindset and emotions. When we are emotionally connected to those around us, we get what I call “stable data”. This is a set of correct information that enables us and empowers us to make the right decisions regarding our business. Tweet me your takeaway from today’s episode @davidmeltzer Email Me! 0:10.2

guide to figure out how people are, what they like, what they don't like, and if we can be of

service or value. This is the flavor. The idea of what questions do we ask has changed

0:24.6

my entire life in those three realms. The first step of open-ended question, the magic

0:32.1

questions that exist is what is my objective? I talk about being more interested than

interesting because it's the best methodology to create a community, a collective consciousness

of sponsors and power sponsors. I've simplified it that I want to surround myself with people that

0:52.0

feed me. People that feed me will have open minds, open hearts and open hands that will do one of

two things. They will either be able to help me or they know someone that can help me,

1:06.8

which then allows me to help them or know someone that can help them. These are

sponsors and power sponsors. In the bigger your neighborhood of sponsors or power sponsors are,

the more awareness you'll have to the frequency of your neighborhood, and frequency is a

neighborhood. The same, and I see it all the time, is if you're sitting at a bus stop in a low

1:32.4

affluent area, their frequency there won't provide you as much opportunities or as many touches

of favor as you move up in your frequency to a different neighborhood, a gated community, luxury

homes, dream homes, and then of course, you know, unbelievable estates. This is what you want to look

1:52.7

at when we're thinking about being more interested than interesting. How can we elevate our frequency

1:58.4

and our awareness to what we're connected to and through? And the pragmatic methodology to do that

2:05.8

to be more interested than interesting is to number one, ask open-ended questions.

And so I've created a guide for everyone to change their life starting today. I promise you,

beyond saying thank you before you go to bed when you wake up, the next most impactful thing you
