Until recently, most requests for a recording of a 911 call you would do for an open case would simply get denied.

It's still like that in some ways in certain cases.

There are certainly instances when access to the calls will still be denied.

But more recently, agencies are becoming more and more likely to release a copy of a call that's cases ongoing.

We'll listen to a couple of these calls in this episode.

This episode will be a little bit different than a lot of the others I've done since there were almost all cases that have been closed one way or another.

Details will be sparse and conclusions may need to be left up to myself and you the listener.
