That's the sound my center, as well as hundreds of others put out on their radio when there's a high priority call that's about to go out.

That's the sound that Officer Irwin, as well as many other officers of the Baltimore

County Police Department in Maryland, heard when a call went out about what initially

was just voiced as a weapons call.

What Officer Irwin didn't know was that he was about to roll up on a scene that was just

crazy and dangerous and just about every way imaginable.

community of Woodlawn on May 8th, around 6.40 a.m.

And it's going to be somewhere in the realm of the 7,500 block of Morrie Road.

The scene that we're about to enter, though, makes this about as far from the truth as possible.
