Her latest novel, Daisy Jones and The Six, cast light on a different variety of L.A. Stardom,

taking the form of a fictional biography of an invented rock band in the 1970s.

Just like their landmark album, Aurora, the book has been an immediate hit and is currently

being turned into a mini-series by Reese Witherspoon's production company.

A heady mix of fact and fiction, the novel charts, the meteoric rise, battles with addiction,

and turbulent off-stage romances of a group of musicians pulled apart and together by creative impulses.
