Hello, today two actors introduce their choice of good read.

Nicola Walker is best known on television for Unforgotten, Last Tango in Halifax and Spooks,

while on stage she starred most recently in the curious incident of the dog in the night time, a view from the bridge and Mark Ravenhills The Cain.

She's about to start filming a second series of the split for BBC One.

With Nicola is Sarah Ann Kennedy, the voice of the ubiquitous Miss Rabbit in Pepper Pig

and of Nanny Plum in

Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom. For adults, she created, wrote and directed the animated soap,

Craxton Villas, and she's currently working on a TV documentary about women in the animation

industry. Sarah Anne Kennedy, let's start with you, your choice of a good read.

I chose dark places by Gillian Flynn because I'd seen Gone Girl and I'd read Gone it. I mean, I quite liked it. It's quite dark, but I didn't want to do Gone Girl. And also,

it was quite difficult for me to choose a book because everything I had chosen had been done.

So I kind of ended up going, what about this

one? And so, but I still really enjoys it. And I liked it because I felt it was a page turner.

I like the fact that her characters are quite dark and quite negative. And it's one of those
