Hello, it's Ian here. The observant of you may have noticed that this podcast is rather shorter than usual. The reason being that we recorded a full 90-minute version, but unfortunately, the laptop that I'm using has got a full hard disk,

and it only lets us record the last 20 minutes, bizarrely.

So I'm afraid all of our wise words have gone into the ether,

and you will have missed our insight into Boris Johnson's first 10 days,

and indeed the fact that I'm sitting here in my student accommodation in Edinburgh, looking over at some other flats where in the

middle of the podcast, some guy got out of bed without the curtains closed and stripped off.

So there is reference to that in the 20 minutes that you will hear, but I'm afraid

it's just a reference. But anyway, it'll have saved you hearing me doing a bit of purving

on Jackie's behalf, obviously. So I'm really, really sorry about that. It's incredibly

frustrating for us, as I'm sure it is for you. But rather than just skip a week, we thought we'd give you a little bit of a fix of for the many for this week.

The 20 minutes starts in the middle of questions, and there was a question about Eddie Meyer interviewing Liz Truss.
