God in the obedience and the blood shedding of his son

manifests a righteousness that you can now have as a gift

so that you stand before him bold as a lion even though you're a sinner.

Now that's the good news of the Gospel.

God justifies us through the blood-bought righteousness of Christ.

We're at Romans 3, verse 21. Now, apart from the law, the righteousness of God, has been manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets.

Stop there for a moment.

This is a major turn in the letter,

beginning with Chapter 1 versus 16 and 17

Paul trumpeted the gospel.

I am not ashamed of the gospel,

for it is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who

believes the Jew first also for the Greek reason for 17 17, because in it, this is an echo of chapter 3 verse 21,

the righteousness of God is being revealed from faith to faith as it is written,

the just shall live by faith.

And then, beginning with verse 18 of chapter 1 to 320,

was indictment of the human race.

And the reason there was that much indictment

is because most of us are very resistant to being told that our
