Christmas, it really is my favorite time of the year, for many reasons, beginning with incredible news that Jesus came into this dark world to save us from our sins.

For our family, that's the center of our celebration. Everything else is just added blessings.

As I take time to reflect, I know I have a role in sharing the good news with others, and

so do you.

But how would we best do that?

Certainly we can verbally share, and that's awesome.

We can also model the life Christ died for us to have.

Here's another way I'd like for you to think about.

In the Bible, the marriage relationship is compared to the relationship between Christ and the church. The church is referred to as the bride of Christ. Did you ever consider the fact that a really healthy Christ honoring marriage can impact the world for good? When people see a difference in your marriage, it will be drawn to it and to you. This opens the door for you to share what Christ has done

in your life and in your marriage. It's an opportunity to pass on the greatest gift

ever given. Merry Christmas to each one of you. You're one thing, let your marriage be a light

in this world that is still clouded in darkness.
