What might change if instead we stepped into life with a little hope,

a little optimism, a little faith.

I get to see what it looks like almost every single day of my life through all my kids,

but in particular my little girl, my youngest, my daughter, Grace.

Grace lives with a powerful posture toward every aspect of life.

Yes, is her response.

Last week, I had the great pleasure of speaking in Hawaii.

It was one of those incredible once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, and the client that brought us out there offered me two plane tickets.

The catch was the trick would be quick.

More than 12 hours of flight time for barely 24 hours on the island before turning around, packing the bags and flying home.

Well, with all the kids on spring break, I thought maybe it might work.

I floated the opportunity by the entire family.

Beth and the boys had already made commitments

and did not feel like canceling those to make such a quick, long flight trip.

That left only one option.

Grace.

Before letting her answer, I laid out the opportunity honestly.
