Republicans send the federal government careening towards a shutdown as Donald Trump continues to pull

the strings. Congressman Eric Swalwell has made a name for himself, calling out the crazy across the aisle,

and he's coming up first. Plus, Trump implies that General Mark Millie should get the death penalty,

concerning enough on its own, even more so when you consider Millie could be a witness in the

So remember back in January when it took 15 rounds of votes over five days for Kevin McCarthy to be elected Speaker of the House, which, by the way, required selling his soul

in the form of a secret deal we still don't know a lot about to the extreme right wing of his

party? There literally has not been a

more chaotic start to his speakership ever. And yet this week, with the House paralyzed and

barreling toward a shutdown, McCarthy seemed shocked, shocked by the unruly behavior of his caucus.

This is a whole new concept of individuals that just want to burn the whole place down.

That doesn't work.

Really?

Well, do I have news for you, Speaker McCarthy?

If you've been sleeping for the last couple of years, the building has been on fire for years.

Ten years ago, Republicans led by Ten Cruz and the Tea Party forced a government shutdown.
