Uh, hey guys. How you doing? First podcast of 2024. We coasted through the holiday season.

I hope you guys had a good holiday. That was yours, boob. You do good?

Uh, it was, yeah, it was standard affair. affair um pretty typical go home see the family um regular array of gifts

plant uh some clothes uh some novelty bengals the magic of of christ Christmas dwindles as you get older.

Just kind of a sad affair.

Having kids revitalizes it, but you also get to, it's kind of, it's bittersweet because

you realize how much work your parents put into putting Christmas together for you as a kid.

And then there was several years where I was in like, what's that called?

I was willfully ignorant of the fact that Santa doesn't exist.

And I was way too old.

I was like 12.

And I was like, no, he exists.

And so like my dad still had to like carry the gifts in like, one in the morning while I was in my room sleeping.

Yeah.

That shit sucks, dude.

That shit sucks pretty bad.

Yeah.

I haven't to set all that up.

I was just about to say, like, yeah, it's crazy too.

And you get older, it's like people stop trying to make the magic around you.

But yeah, it's probably just very tiring.
