Pushing a little treat forward just a bit can extend your pleasure and make the experience more fun.

Sometimes in the afternoon I like to make myself a cup of tea and I've been trying different brands and I

recently bought one that came with a more elaborate set of instructions than the

usual heat water steep the teabag, routine.

This one noted that while the water was heating, you should take a moment for anticipation.

I guess of the great tea experience that was about to come. It's a little silly but on the other hand

it's not a bad idea. These days you can get a lot of what you want really quickly.

I'm old enough to remember having to wait for special movies like

The Wizard of Oz to be played on TV or driving around hoping to hear a new song on

the radio. These days you just download or stream whatever you want whenever you want.
