You're on the Bert's show

I'm always looking for ways to underscore for you guys like what Bert's big adventure this is the trip we take down to Disney World every year

with kids that have chronic and terminal illnesses and we bring everybody in the house. I'm always trying to figure out different ways to of

internal illnesses and we bring everybody in the house. I'm always trying to figure out different ways to emphasize to you guys on exactly the impact that it has on the families, the moms, the dads, and it's not just for this trip. It hits them at a level that I think

for the longest time, you know, I'm just, I'm guessing here for the longest time,

his families feel like they are on the outside. I'm guessing here for the longest time.

His families feel like they are on the outside looking in.

And when we get everybody together and do this every single year,

there is a bonding and there is a family aspect to this that we tap into that they need so much.

So every year we have volunteers of moms that say, hey, if you need somebody to tell others

about Birch Big Adventure, sign me up.

And in this case, we get a letter every year from one Birch Big Adventure mom

every single year, kind of giving us perspective before we take off for the trip.

Yeah so this is a tradition that the Burtz Big Adventure staff receives a letter from Holly

Odom and that is Princess Elizabeth's mother.

Elizabeth, oh my gosh she's such like a grown woman now.

She was one of my first trips 12 years ago.

And every year, Holly sends a letter to the Burtzburg Adventure office,

just sending her well wishes and prayers

for a successful trip.

And she just, she did such a beautiful job writing it

that we wanted to share it with everybody today.
