So actors and writers are still currently on strike. They want to be paid more and get paid fair residuals for their work on streaming services.

So this actor named Stephen Amel, he's not a fan of this strike. He's currently on a show called Heels on Stars.

And a fan asked him about how he felt about everyone going on strike.

And he said, you know, I support my union and I stand with them, but I don't support it.

I think it's a reductive negotiating tactic. And I find the entire thing incredibly frustrating.

And I think that the thinking that as it pertains to shows like the show that I'm on that premiered last night,

I think it's myopic, which is a big word for basically like you're not really thinking ahead.

I had to Google that because I was like, I don't know what that means.

But basically this guy was at Comic Con and something that I didn't know about the strike was,

you're not allowed to promote your own, you're not allowed to do TV promotion or movie promotion.

Or yeah, for like all the projects that you've worked on.
