We're diving into Notre Dame's defense in a very similar fashion to how we dove in in Notre Dame's 2026 offense yesterday.

We're going to talk about the defensive side of the ball, expectations,

keys to a successful season, what comes back, what they lost.

But before we do that, Brian, we were getting ready for the show and we were prepping.

And then something came across your desk that got us both pretty fired up by our friends over at on three, my man.

Yeah, you know, there's been a couple things that have gotten me fired up lately.

Like there's some preseason way too early rankings that have Notre Dame 9th, 7th, you know, PFS rankings is pure trash.

Then we came across, Ryan texted me this morning and he was like, dude, on three has a top 100 that doesn't have Leonard Moore.

And I was like, that's sane. So I went and looked at it and it was an oversight on their part.

They added Leonard Moore back in at number six, I would still argue it's too low.

It didn't make any sense because they had him ranked high last year.

And he was a unanimous all-American.

So stupid and not have him in there.

So, okay, I'll grant that it was an oversight.

Then I started to look at the rest of the ranking.

And I'm like, this is pure garbage.

And it's not just Notre Dame players.
