Hello from New Hampshire. We are recording in the beautiful studio at Stout Hart.

We just met with some listeners at River Run bookstore and are here to give you

as best as we can some on-the-ground perspective on the first in the nation primary.

So today we're going to pick up where we left off on Friday, talk a little bit of news,

and then we're going to share a few conversations that we've had as we've interacted with people

covering the primary, involved in the primary, to give you a little bit of additional perspective.

First, we wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful feedback we got on Friday's episode.

We were both pretty raw emotionally and it turns out all of you were as well.

And so we so appreciate the affirmation, the gratitude, the recognizing that yes,

I do cry a lot and you love me just the same.

So I think what you hear from all the feedback that we got from that episode is people are still

really caught up emotionally from the past election. One of the interviews we're going to share

in the next segment is with Martha McCullum from Fox News and she calls it 2016 PTSD and I think

that's right. And so we're all still really caught up emotionally and what has happened up

into this point and what we saw from several news items this week is that the president is not

going to give us a break that those intense experiences are not over with. He had the Vennman brothers,
