Hello and welcome back to Big Mood, Little Mood. I'm your host, Danny M. Lavery, and with me in

the studio this week is Gabe Mallica, a comedian, storyteller and writer in a story of Queens.

His off-broadway show, Solo, is a show about friendship and has been granted an extension

of the Soho Playhouse in Manhattan. Gabe, welcome to the show.

Oh, thanks so much for having me. I'm really excited to be here.

I'm so pleased that you're able to make some time and I think I have a fairly friendship

heavy deck today, which, you know, I'm proud of because I'm just considering you today

an expert in friendship. That's your area of expertise that we're

running for. Beautiful. Yeah, I've read a couple, I've

read a couple textbooks in preparation to do my show and just, it's funny. I don't consider

myself like a friendship influencer. I'm just like a comic who decided to talk about it a lot,

but I'm happy to, I do have a lot of thoughts about it. If not, expert PhD level friendship.

Frankly, you know, if you did start calling yourself a friendship influencer,

I think a lot of people would probably be a little bit put off. So it is probably two-year

advantage that you don't say, I'm Gabe, I'm a friendship influencer. Yeah, because like people

are like, what's the takeaway? Like, you know, and I'm just like, I don't, like, people want me

to be like, join a bowling league and I'm like, I'm not really that guy. I've got my fingers

on the pulse of the latest trends in friendship. And here's what I can tell you is in and out

for next year. Yeah, I'm not, I have like broad thoughts in general, but nothing too concrete.
