your late friend John MacArthur.

When did you first meet?

So just to be clear, at this recording, John went home to do with the Lord about a month

to go down.

First met him.

I think I remember I heard him at the 1995, I heard him in person, at the 1995

Southern Baptist Convention in Atlanta.

He was actually, I think, if I remember James Merritt was the president of the

pastor's conference, and he had invited John MacArthur to come and preach.

And John, I remember the sermon John preached, a marvelous message on vision of God from Revelation chapter one.

And it was tremendous.

Honestly, it was one of the best messages I think I ever heard John preach.

And it was one of the best messages I think I ever heard John preach. And it was followed by someone making an announcement out, I mean, immediately after John's message, which was just unusually good.
