I'm your host, Joanna DeVoe, but you can call me Joe,

and I am here to uplift and support my fellow creatives, lovable weirdos,

and makers of magic all by myself. Yes, that little teeny piece of a song that I sang at the

beginning of this episode was my song. And it's much longer than the little bitty piece that I shared.

The next verse is actually about wanting to be a mushroom, but since the last song I sang was about

a mushroom, thank you for the feedback on that. Well received, I appreciate it. I gave your compliments

to Steve, my co-valist. I'm not going to

totally freak you out by singing a full-length song, but let me tell you, I am a weird person. My brain

is filled with songs and jingles and since I'm going solo and I don't feel like I need to be respectful to the guest

that I'm interviewing because in case you missed the memo, I have retired as an interviewer

and I'm taking the show solo. I've just decided to let my freak flag fly and it's fun for me. It's fun.

I hope you don't mind. My patrons put up with this bull honky as my son would say all the time.

Bull honky is how we swear around here. We don't swear, but we find ways around it.
