We are to invade this world with the light of the gospel in whatever occupation to which he

We need to end it just where we began. I want you to go with me back to Matthew chapter 17. I want to read our passages

again. This time I'm going to ask you as many times as we have been into it now. I'm going to ask

you, if you would please, would you just be so visual? Just do everything you can to plant yourself on the top of that mount of transfiguration,

that convergence with all the law and the prophets coming together.

Christ Jesus, the fulfillment of everything that had been foreshadowed in the Old Testament, complete

in him, goes forth with the new covenant in his blood.

We're going to see that come together on that mountain.

Number one is what?

A mountain view calls for a mountain climb. I'm thinking in terms

of Matthew chapter four where it is implied that Satan in the days of temptation of Jesus

in the wilderness, it seems to imply that he transported Jesus to the top

of the mountain to just dangle the kingdoms of this world before him, which of course Jesus resisted

according to the word of God. But I thought how common that is, how common that is, to miss the climb that

would have brought us to the place of a brand new view. That's what we're after, being willing to

climb, being willing to dig, being willing to press in. I'm fixated right now on the verses

where we're told to keep asking, to keep knocking, to keep seeking.

Because I want to tell you, I know you're just standing, but just stretch your legs for a second.

If you want to know what interests me at my age, what interests me is to meet somebody that is my age or older

that still has fire in their bones for
