Hey, this is Beth.

Listen, what we live for at Living Proof is to serve people the Word of God.

We base our ministry on Hebrews 412 that tells us that the Word is alive and active.

We pray this message is going to serve you in some way today and that God

is going to speak through it. Thank you so much for giving us this privilege. I've got me some

snickers and I got me some kisses. I got me some almond joys. We'll see if God decides to

make this like the fish and loaves, you just might find

them all over the house today. I'm just going to lay them out before him in case that

becomes his desire. Psalm 37, I want to remind you of our primary scripture in verse four, yourself somebody say delight yourself in the lord

and he will give you the desires of your heart now look at verse 23 if the lord delights in a man's

way he makes his steps firm though he he stumble, he will not fall.

For the Lord upholds him with his hand.

Oh, God, that we would learn to delight in you and you would delight in us.

That is love having a cartwheel.

We want to know the expression of delighting in our God.

Now, I want you to stare at that fourth verse and I want

to show you that it is a promise. It's a conditional promise, but it is a promise in scripture.

God is saying, all scripture is God breathed. So God is saying to us, if you will learn to delight

yourself in me, I will give you the desires of your heart.

That is a powerful statement.

Now, someone might ask me, and this would be a fair question and a good question, Beth, does that apply to us under the new covenant?

We are New Testament believers this side of the cross. Does that apply to us?
