My name is Andy and I am joined on today's show by an author, lecturer, researcher and truly

one of the prominent speakers of the last few decades in the UFO conversation. It is my

privilege to welcome Mr. Richard Dolan to the podcast. Richard, welcome. Andy, thank you. It's a pleasure to be here.

Very excited for this one. And Richard, I almost hate to ask you this question, given how well

I know you and your work and what you've done for many years. But there's a lot of new listeners

and viewers who have come into the UFO conversation in the last weeks and months, given how much

coverage it's had, especially in the United States. And if someone newer to this topic is

hearing and seeing you for the first time, how would you describe your part in the UFO conversation?

That's a totally fair question. I've been studying UFOs for about 30 years. I've been public as an author, I guess,

for a little more than 20 years. But I got into this in the 1990s originally. I was back in those

days working on a PhD in United States diplomatic history, Cold War strategy, things like that.

And I fell into the UFO subject.

I saw a UFO book, actually by UK author Timothy Good, called Above Top Secret, the Worldwide

UFO Coverup.
