Good morning, welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham. Let's get one thing straight.

There's nothing common about the people that listen to this show. This is a show for the elites,

not just the elites that you think of the elites, but for all the real elites, the people who actually

make this country count. The people that make this country matter, the ordinary people of this

country. And there's nothing wrong with being ordinary, by the way, because many of you are extraordinary. Today, here's what we're going to do. Because, you know, there's a bit

of doom and gloom sort of hanging over the horizon. There's a little bit of mist. There's a little bit

of fog. There's a little bit of uncertainty. There is, however, some good news on the medical

front. Finally, the medical people and the politicians have agreed with what we've

been saying for the best part of the last two weeks, i.e., the Omicron variant isn't very dangerous.

I mean, that's all you need to know, really. It's less likely to make you end up going to

hospital. It's less likely to kill you. It's less likely to reduce you down to some kind

of quivering wreck. More than likely, it's not going to be of any damage to you

whatsoever. And this is a new study that's come out real world data from Edinburgh University.

They're going to make it official coming up just after the news at lunchtime. However, before we do

any of that, and before we speak to all of our great guests today, what I'm going to say to you

is this. I think it's time that we celebrated you. The people

that have listened to talk radio religiously over the course of the last 12 months, maybe even

over the course the last 24 months, maybe, if you're really lucky, over the course of the last
