I'm Gianna Jalosi with your Fox True Crime Minute. An Ohio substitute teacher was busted for

allegedly offering a high school student $2,000 to kill her estranged husband in a bizarre murder-for-hire plot that was foiled by the teen's mother.

44-year-old Stephanie Demetrius was arrested last week on first-degree conspiracy charges after the student's mom found texts between her son and the sub.

Police say Demetrius approached the student at school in Columbus on March 26th and offered

him the cash to kill her soon-to-be ex-husband, giving the teenager $250 as a down payment.

A phone call was recorded where Demetrius confirmed the remainder of the payment.

Demetrius was in the process of divorcing her husband, who she married in 2004, and let the teenager know when he would be working from home and when her four kids would be out of the house.

A prosecutor in the case says Demetrius had previously threatened her husband,

and he got an order of protection against her.

She's being held on $150,000 bond.
