Nathan Baird, Stephen Means. We are previewing Ohio State Indiana, but we're not going to get to Indiana until right at the end because they don't deserve anything more than that.

I really think this might be the worst team in the big 10. If Indiana and Northwestern played each other,

everybody's eyes balls would be filled with blood, but I think Northwestern might win. I don't know. Ohio State is favored by 39 and a half points in this game.

The over under is 58 and a half at the end of this pod. We will make our picks, but for now because we didn't do rapid fire on Thursday, we did that weird fan satisfaction thing.

We're going to do rapid fire here, and we're going to start off with this again. These are rants that we didn't get to on the Wednesday pod that we're twisting into questions here for the three of us and it's Gary and the 217.

Ohio State's defense is the strength of the team.

No one has to wait for the offense to get into gear while the defense creates turnovers and scores. How is the offense going to catch up with the defense?

Ohio State will have a very good shot at Michigan because the defense is so good with this good of a defense does the offense have to change its approach.

Nathan is that where we are officially where this is a defense first version of the buck eyes.

Look that up while you talk North pole area code. Okay, go ahead. I know I don't think the defense can be called the strength of this team.

There were too many games this year where this often scores touchdowns on you know six of the first seven possession seven of the first eight possessions whatever you know blowing opponents off the field.

And yes, the defense played well in those games too, but as I brought up before I think we can't discount the immense pressure that this offense when it's doing that puts on all other offenses to play essentially perfect.

So again, as and as good as as good as we've seen some performances from you know the JT2 and the low out performance at Penn State, for instance, he you know he's responsible for contributing to those points, but a lot of those points are still coming from an offense that goes out and executes against a really good defense.

I don't think that this is an offense that has to catch up to the defense, but it's definitely fair to say that this defense has done what we thought it might need to do in order for the offense to maximize what it could be this year for the team to maximize what it could be, which is.

I mean, it succeeded that I think it succeeded what what what we expected to do or what we thought it needed to do that it needed to delete we just thought it needed to stabilize really and instead it has been one of the better defenses in country.

So the only teams to hold Ohio said under 40 points this year, one of them because they lost their best player two minutes into the game basically and that's Notre Dame and the other one it was it was a hurricane outside basically that's the only two times this offense is not scored at least 40 points.

The run game that's a conversation as is, but as we talked about for most of the year, the passing game isn't going to run into many days when.
