Unless there's so much news on the text, we don't, and then we try to make up for it, we don't want to over what the text to be fun. We don't want it to be a burden.

So sometimes if there's so much going on, we hold off on the question of the day, but most of the time, question of the day, every day for football, and then Monday through Friday, recruiting question.

So we're doing a little rapid fire. You know, you know, this little, you know, little little interaction there.

But then we'd like to talk it out. So we did another call out for our textures.

And we have like 12 good ones. I'll tell you what they're talking about. There's, are they, are the buckeye is going to focus more on the transfer portal in recruiting. And then there, is there any unethical stuff, not about Ohio State, but in general, that might happen with transfer portal recruiting.

What's the best start time for Ohio State games? What would Jean Smith and Ryan Day pick if it was up to them? We have ice cream debate question about softer versus hard ice cream.

We have a really interesting question. I think we'll go more than the five minutes on could Ohio State make to play off in 2021 with this first year, starting quarterback and still start quenures in 2022 as a true freshman could that happen.

Then we have questions about eating cicadas, Ryan Day as a quarterback whisperer, could Ohio State wind up with a quarterback who is a top 10 quarterback in the country by the end of the year.

A Coke or Pepsi question or any more transfers coming. What do we think about high school players opting out? Do they need to get a five star tackle in 2022 and do we go harder than anybody else on the OSU beats. That's what we're looking for in the rapid fire.

But I do think this transfer stuff off the top guys is pretty interesting. From the 330 hey buckeye talk. I would love to hear you guys talk about the pluses and minuses of Ohio State focusing more of their recruitment efforts on the transfer portal.

Rather than trying to land a complete class of high school recruits each year, what if they aim to land marquee players in the transfer portal each year. And then a companion question to that from the 505.

This is Wayne from Silver Spring Maryland. There's an ESPN article today that notes widespread concern that opposing coaches are proactively and unethically recruiting players on other teams to enter the transfer portal.

It sites SEC and the big 10 specifically it seems like an unhealthy recruiting development your thoughts.

So those are two questions in the same area Nathan. How much is it going to happen and is there any part of this that could enter like dangerous territory.

So they're related enough you can answer both at the same time. There's definitely strategy here.

And most of this, most of these questions are kind of from a big dog perspective. So if you're a big dog, you know, it's like, hey, maybe we don't need to hit the high school guys as much because we know we're going to have the pick of the litter in the portal.

And also we might not just have the pick of the litter. We might be whispering sweet nothings in the ears of guys from mid tier opponent saying, hey, you'd look good in scarlet and gray next year. What do you think a whole thing Nathan?

Well, answer the first question first. I don't think you can make assuming that there will be someone for whatever need you have waiting in the transfer portal for you every year.
