Welcome back to your Thursday book. I talk this will be the big one again in season. This is the the bigger one that we'll do in a normal week last week was not a normal week and then Friday we will have your game preview where we will zoom in more on what's going to happen on Saturday, three topics we're going to try to hit on this podcast one is it seems like by the end of this week from a bunch of reports that Cincinnati is going to join the big 12. You don't know exactly when it'll happen, but that's going to happen.

What does that mean for Cincinnati? What does it mean for Luke fickle, but more importantly, what might it mean for Ohio State to have a another power conference team in the state? What could that look like? We'll get into that.

We'll also get into the best teams in the northern half of the country. We know Ohio State's the best one. Who's the second best one and is it maybe Oregon? We'll talk about Oregon a little bit in the context of Notre Dame Michigan Penn State was constant.

And just sort of a little bit about northern football. This is a project that we're working on that we're going to drop later in the season from a bigger perspective. But we want to touch on it now because these are two big time northern schools meeting up on Saturday.

But we are going to kick it off with trying to make me a couple extra bucks. We're going to talk about my book, which comes out next Tuesday.

The road to Ohio State. It's a book about 17 different recruiting stories from 17 Ohio State players through the years. I've been reminding you guys of it.

So Nathan, we gathered some questions from the tech subscribers about this book. I'm going to show Nathan and Steven what the cover looks like, but you guys can't see it. But Ryan, days on the cover.

Looking like all cool and stuff. I'm not on the cover. I sent a picture.

I did some family pictures and I did a smug photo of me like leaning against a lamppost. And I did it. It was like, just family pictures like a year ago. And I was like, you know what, I might need a smug photo of myself at some point in my life.

So just take a picture of me, family photographer, and they took it. And then the publisher was like, send us your photo. So I sent in smug leaning on a lamppost Doug. It's awful.

But then it's not in there, which is probably good because it looks even more smug than I actually am. And I'm like an eight out of 10 on a smug scale, but I look like a 12 in the photo.

But it's not in the thing. It's not in the thing. So you just have to imagine what I look like. Alright, that's enough talking by me. Nathan, did anyone care when you sent out the call.

We got a lot of responses that were asking how they got a copy and how to get one autographed. So it sounds like you're answering that.

But yeah, we got a lot of responses. And some were asking about some of the specific players. Like you said, there's about 17 chapters.

So some were asking about specific players. I thought it just a good general question to start with though came from a 317, which was, how did you go about selecting the players to do chapters on?

Like you were looking for, I guess, probably a comprehensive look at a wide era of Ohio State football. But why these players specifically?
