win. Do you know? 22. Last time the Buckeyes lost the opener. August 29th, 1999. Remember the old

kickoff classics? East Rutherford, New Jersey. That was number 9 Ohio State, falling to number 12,

Miami. 23 to 12. John Cooper, the head coach, then 22 straight now for the Buckeyes after the

win. At Minnesota in the opener, they don't get tested quite as much. I mean, Asteroid

in Clemson. They played a good one on the opener. But those opening games, those neutral side

games back in the day, those were interesting. Some teams still do those Ohio State traditionally

has not done them. You know, Atlanta hosted one with Alabama and Miami this year, Charlotte hosted

Clemson and Georgia. You know, going to Minnesota that wasn't a cakewalk, like often like the

Mac schools that Ohio State used to open with. But still 22 straight years that Ohio State has
