Summary
Several athletes from tthe Ohio State football team led a recent worship service for as many as a thousand people. By the end of the night, at least sixty people were baptized as believers. On this Labor Day, I’d like us to reflect on the fact that we cannot measure the eternal consequences of present faithfulness. This is just one reason why serving Jesus gives our work an empowering significance found nowhere else.

| 1:13.2 | and empowering significance found nowhere else. The law of unintended consequences works the other way |
| 1:20.3 | as well, sometimes tragically. For example, Israel has recovered the bodies of six hostages |
| 1:26.7 | killed by Hamas in Gaza, including an Israeli-American captive. |
| 1:31.4 | According to the IDF, they were murdered before they could be rescued, another consequence of Hamas' brutal hatred for Israel. |
| 1:39.3 | Tens of thousands of Israelis surged into the streets last night, demanding that Prime Minister Benjamin |
| 1:45.2 | Netanyahu reach a ceasefire with Hamas to bring the remaining captives home. In other news, |
| 1:51.7 | NHL star Johnny Godot and his brother were killed in a bike crash after being struck by a suspected |
