occasion that it is. Also later today, we will, you will find out who are the final two contenders

in the battle to be the next leader of the Tory party. So who will be going toe to toe with Kirstama before Christmas of this year.

I'm tempted to, but I'm not going to lie.

It's a little bit hard to get you very excited about it.

I may have a way into it that opens up previously unexplored vistas,

which is after all my job.

But let us turn our attention first to the state of

the Labour Party. I'll read some of the early texts to come in. I don't understand, James,

how you can say that the Labour government is in crisis after the last Tory government.

This is taming comparison. We haven't even had a budget yet. The right-wing media is treating

things as if they're

worse than the mini budget under Liz Trust. Unfortunately, there seem to be a lot of sheep buying into it.

Jamie writes, massive majority, Tories fighting like rats in a sack and it's all pretty irrelevant.

Panic? No way. It's still early days. And Anthony writes, come on, James. Labour have five years.

I personally love the fact that they're not pandering to the press on either side and are just taking the decisions they feel they need to take.

If you look closely at what they've done, it's all sensible, maybe a little awkward, re-timing, but they are laying the ground for the budget.
