Hey, everybody, welcome to another episode of OG Therapy.

And have you ever had a situation where your kid goes back to school promising that grades will be good,

attendance will be good? Everything will be all good. And mom and dad, don't worry because last year

is last year. That's not going to happen again. Those were just, there's tons of good excuses

why they didn't perform or do well last year. And today and this year

is going to be a brand new year. So you don't have to worry about anything. In fact, you don't have to

worry about it so much that you don't have to check their grades. You don't have to do anything

at all. They're just going to magically do better even though they did nothing all summer long to

give you any proof that this year was going to be different. Well, if you've ever had that happen to you, or if you've just had any battles or confrontations or fights

with your kids over grades and attendance and those things in the past, well, then this episode is

just for you. So expectations about grades and checking grades is something that I'm going to be

talking about in today's episode.

I'm going to give you guys some basic tips how to make sure that you can navigate not getting

caught in the traps of arguing with your kids about grades, especially throughout the

quarter. At the end of the quarter, once grades are final, there's a whole lot less

to argue about.
