podcast I'm Matt Verram alongside Gilberto Manzano, it is Thursday, May 30th.

And we are rolling through OTA, we are rolling toward mini camp,

and then going into training camp in about six weeks but right now

O T A's it is and Gilberto what's going on man? I know

Yeah, Matt, you know for a bit I kept thinking about my vacations in June or July I just want to get to the

summer break that one month off I look forward to it every single NFL off season but

Matt I don't know if you saw the proposal from the NFLPA,

potentially changing all that.

Now I'm thinking about how I'm going to spend my vacation

for next year.

That proposal seems very dumb. I don't know how else to put it. I don't understand why if you're a

player you would do that. That feels really short-sighted.

You, by the way, you're a player,

don't have to go to OTA's.

They are voluntary. You cannot be fine for that.

Minnie Camp is mandatory. You have to be there if you're under contract, but if I'm a player,

especially if I'm a veteran player, I'd beg you, listen, I'll see you at Mini Camp.

That sounds great.

I'm not going with the A's to pointless and then spend those three days

and you know whatever city I'm playing for then go from there I the idea of

going to training camp on let's just say June 20th. So you're going to be in camp for two
