The retirement party of our former boss Peter King

So it was first time I've seen Albert in a couple weeks. weeks. I had a weird thing where I was actually nervous that we were going to wear the same suit jacket.

Me and you? Yeah, I bought a suit jacket. This is weird. I bought a suit jacket because I didn't have any suit jackets that fit. I went to the store and I bought a suit jacket just for like kind of versatility purposes and then I took it home and then weirdly like in the back of my head I was like this looks like a suit jacket that Albert would buy

It just looks like a suit jacket that you have and then you got a good sense of style. Well I would have I would have like examined the two like were they close?

No they weren't close but I thought like I just was just like imagine we're going to go to this place where we're going to take photos together

we're going to be in the same crowd,

and then we have the exact same suit jacket on.

It was sort of a nightmare.

Yeah.

So, I don't know, I'm glad we did.

It was weird because, like, if everybody wants a peak behind the curtain

about like like two hours into the party I went over to Connor I'm like I haven't

talked to you at all and he's like yeah we don't we

don't really need to catch up we talk all the time. Yeah yeah there's not no

acrimony or anything it's just, no, it's all good.

We hadn't seen there in years. I will say one note on Peter's retirement party, just like,

we talked about this before, but, you know, just a night to make you realize that when you think you're being good to people and you think you're caring about people, there's always more that you can do.

You're not even close.

I mean, Peter has touched and changed so many lives and it's sort of, it re-energises you a little bit because, you know, I'm always grateful for this job, but when you're in that, know sometimes when the work gets down or you get

cynical or you know all that kind of stuff you realize that Peter was doing it for
