the gusset is still safe on your winter swimming costume and you will head towards an open-air

swimming pool in the hope of embracing the British summer. Now, Lido's used to be such a huge thing

across the country, but many of them have been closed down.

But but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but there is a campaign group called Future Lido's,

which is aiming to open and restore some of those closed ones and is also doing some really good

work in communities who would like a new Lido in place as well.

So we had a conversation with Deborah

Aden, who is co-founder of future Lidoes. She was down in Westminster doing some good work with

those parliamentarians to further the cause. And Jane and I thought it was an opportune moment

to have a little splash around. Summer is almost here and thousands of people are flocking to the nation's Lido's.

Most of our old swimming bars were once in a pretty dilapidated state,

but there are suggestions that a renaissance is underway.
