Welcome to our podcast, our fantastic podcast.

So today we are talking about something that I think is, you know, pretty relevant at the moment,

which is fear and the concept thereof.

Not the, not the shooter from what year was that, Fahey?

When did the video game fear come out?

It was early 2000s, wasn't it first first encounter assault

recon yes that was its name oh um that's actually what we're all saying anytime we use the word

fear by the way way back when people were inventing the human language there like we need a single

phrase that can refer it to first encounter assault recon. That's what they came up with.

So anyway, we are delving into this subject because of, you know, seasonal reasons. And so I'd like to begin very quickly by asking you about costumes. I know that unfortunately, y'all told me recently

that you've never done a video game

theme costume, but have you done a nerd adjacent costume? Have you done a costume that would fit in

in the world of, you know, general nerdery? So it could be anime or something that's not anime.

Back when I had dreadlocks, I went as Michone to a Asen in Chicago.

I had a sword and everything.
