So let's start off with Daniel. He writes,

Hiya, absolutely love the podcast. I'm Daniel and I wanted to tell you about what I witnessed a few years ago

whilst visiting Whitby Abbey on the Yorkshire coast. You've probably seen pictures of it,

towering Gothic ruins on the cliff top looking out over the North Sea.

It's beautiful during the day, but when the sun sets, it's one of the eeriest places I've ever stood.

I was there with two friends on a weekend trip.

We'd spent the afternoon walking the ruins, taking photos, and listening to stories from locals about the Abbey's history.

How it was founded back in the 7th century fell to Viking raids and later became the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula.
