Summary
In this haunting episode of Paranormal Activity, Producer Dom reacts to two spine-tingling listener stories where the past seems to walk, literally, beside the living.
First, Daniel recounts a visit to an ancient cliffside chapel in northern Spain, where the air turned heavy and footsteps echoed through empty aisles.
As the chapel door slammed shut behind them, Daniel and his partner were left wondering if the souls of lost sailors still roam those sacred walls.
Then, Emma shares a chilling encounter on a lonely beach in Cornwall.
What began as a peaceful sunset walk turned into a nightmare of invisible footprints and a tide that moved with eerie intent.
Was it just the sea… or something waiting beneath it?
Two stories.
Two sets of ghostly footsteps.
One unsettling question: Who? Or what is following?

| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome back to Monday Mail Time with me producer Dom, where we dive into your experiences and your stories. |
| 0:07.7 | So without further ado, let's dive into the mailbag for a first story of today's episode. |
| 0:13.3 | This comes from Daniel. |
| 0:15.8 | Hi, I'm Daniel and I wanted to share something strange that happened to me a couple of years ago when I went on holiday to Spain. |
| 0:38.7 | My partner and I were exploring the northern coast near Asturlias. One afternoon we hiked up to this tiny weather beaten chapel on the cliffs overlooking the sea. It was supposed to be just a quiet stop before dinner, but it turned into something I'll never forget. The chapel was empty when we arrived, the door creaked open and inside it was simple, stone walls, wooden pews, and a faint smell of salt and damp. As soon as I stepped inside, I felt this shift in the |
| 0:43.6 | air. It wasn't cold exactly, but heavy, like the atmosphere had thickened. We wandered quietly, |
| 0:48.8 | looking at the old carvings, when suddenly we both heard the sound of footsteps on the stone floor, |
| 0:53.6 | clear, deliberate, coming |
| 0:55.6 | from the far end of the chapel. We turned, expecting to see another visitor, but the place |
| 1:00.0 | was still empty. Then the footsteps started again, this time circling us. My partner grabbed my arm |
| 1:05.5 | and whispered, do you hear that? We stood frozen, listening as the sound moved from one side of the chapel to the |
| 1:11.8 | other, like someone pacing around us, but no one was there. The strangest part came when we decided |
| 1:18.1 | to leave. As I pulled the heaven-woody door open, a lull-slamp echoed from inside the chapel, |
| 1:23.8 | as if one of the pews had been shoved. We both jumped and rushed outside. |
| 1:29.1 | From the path back down I looked over my shoulder and saw that the chapel door had swung |
| 1:32.5 | shut on its own. |
| 1:33.5 | Later, we learned that the chapel had been built in the Middle Ages and was once used by sailors' |
| 1:37.5 | families, praying for loved ones lost at sea. |
| 1:40.4 | Some say those who never return still linger there. |
| 1:42.9 | I don't know if that's true, but the sound of those invisible footsteps pacing around still haunts me today. |
| 1:48.0 | Daniel, I think your story is a textbook case of a place brimming with atmosphere and mystery, but what makes it so fascinating is that it defies simple explanations. |
| 1:56.0 | The thickened air, the footsteps circling you, and the slav in the chapel as you left |
