We're going to have an interview that night with Alex Bloomberg.

He's a reporter and editor for this American Life, and also for NPR.

And he has been producing for the last few months a series of specials on what's going on with the financial situation.

They did this special for this American Life called the giant, or the global pool of money, which was along with Adam Davidson, an NPR business and economics reporter.

They produced this hour long special on like, what does it mean?

Subprime, mortgage, mess, credit, crunch, what's actually going on?

And it was the most listenable, understandable, getable thing anyone's done on it.

So much so that David Carr last week, writing in the New York Times, singled it out, and this new blog that they're doing.

They're doing a blog and a podcast called Planet Money.

And basically every day, they read all of this crazy news.

They go interview people and they come back and they put together a succinct, understandable explanation of what it all means.

And it's, if you ever thought that, you know, the commercial paper market could actually be a sexy, interesting topic.

These are the guys that have been able to do it.
